On March 6, 2019, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted Decree No. 168 "On Amendments to the Procedure for Carrying out Trade Activities and Rules for Trade Services in the Consumer Goods Market", which entered into force on March 13.
This document used by the Government to annul out of one of the Soviet legacies - the Book of Feedbacks and Proposals. Despite the daily use of the latest technologies to facilitate communication, the use of paper-based Books found to be ineffective in protecting consumer rights.
Changes have made, among other things, to adapt national legislation to global trends using various communication tools of business entities and consumers, in particular through using of messengers, social or corporate networks, e-mail, etc. At the same time, it is worth noting that response of the business to any requests from potential customers is still mandatory.
A positive moment for business is also the abolition of another "formal" basis for the audit, which until recently was the mandatory presence of the Book at the commercial facilities of business entities.
